It’s Health Information Professionals Week, and a great opportunity to thank the people you know who work hard every day in this field. Just the same, we think the thankfulness should be year-round, which is why we’ve been highlighting individuals who go beyond expectations or job descriptions to make a positive impact.

Terri Pobre, Clinical Analyst at GeoLogics: “My dad, Sol, is a retired physician. I grew up seeing his great work ethic, and he inspired me to get into healthcare as a nurse.”
Allison Primack, Sales Operations Manager at M Powered Strategies: “Jessica is a superwoman! Not only does she help the VA improve their health IT for veterans, but she goes above and beyond by helping our firm on proposals (she is our best writer) and volunteers at Calvary Women’s Services, helping women who are domestically abused get back on their feet and find jobs.”
Bryan Greear, VP of Business Development at LivPact: “Cary is a pain, but brilliant!”
Janiese Cleckley, Director for Administration, Healthcare at the Department of Defense: “A true modern day Samaritan—Adel is the spouse of a Navy active duty member, and she’s active in her community, sponsoring families during the transition into military life. She is an excellent military souse, donates to those in need, and helps at shelters. During the recent hurricane in the Bahamas, she raised money for local families. A true hero!”
Whether you’re a child’s role model, a volunteer, or a brilliant pain, thank you for going above and beyond to make the world a little better.
