Welcome to our second installment of #GoesBeyond stories (if you missed the first one, you can read it here).
The #GoesBeyond campaign highlights people who go beyond expectations and the call of duty to make a positive impact. These three stories were shared with us at HIMSS about individuals who are making a difference in healthcare.
Janiese Cleckley, Director for Administration, Health, at the Department of Defense: "Edward is a superb leader, mentor, and role model on and off duty. He volunteers in the community, and is very involved with church and civic development."
Spencer Draper, Clinical Solutions Consultant at Versus Technology: "Kimberly ensures that things are done correctly. She is always encouraging other staff members and building them up. She is very intelligent, resourceful, and has a lot of experience that she uses to ensure patients are going to receive the best care and staff/clients are completely satisfied."
Lucinda Saxon, Principal at Texas Star Alliance: "Januari works as a policy advocate on behalf of the uninsured and underinsured in Texas, with a strong focus on the LGBT community and HIV/AIDS issue. She is AMAZING."
Thank you to those who inspire and those who share their stories. We'll be back with more next week.
