After a great week of learning, networking, and foot massages in Las Vegas, HIMSS is in the rearview mirror. All of us on the Greythorn team had a great time, but the best part was reading the stories shared as part of our #GoesBeyond contest.
For those of you unfamiliar with it, we asked contest participants to share a story about someone in healthcare who goes beyond expectations and the call of duty to make a positive impact. The winner would receive an Amazon Echo--as would the person mentioned in their story.
People shared amazing stories about inspiring individuals. We realized we couldn't just highlight the winner--we had to share our favorites. Over the next few weeks and months, tune back to our blog to read our favorite entries (and make sure you read the posts from our team, too).
Oh, and the winners of the Echoes?
Trey Hyberger is the Director of Analytics at Baptist Health in Kentucky, and he nominated someone who was on his team while he was at Hardin Memorial Health.
"Jenny's patient-first focus, blended with her technical and analytical approach, results in first class patient care," Trey wrote. "Jenny definitely #GoesBeyond!"
Congratulations to Trey and Jenny on the new Amazon Echoes, and thank you to everyone who participated in our #GoesBeyond contest!
