“In May of 2004 I saw an ad posted by Greythorn on Monster.com that caught my eye. Working at Microsoft at the time, I didn’t quite feel like I was any closer to reaching my goal of using my degree in International Business and Spanish and was intrigued by Grey thorn’s international presence.

Interviewing with James Dixon, the British CEO for North America, and an Australian member of the team was my first introduction to the international aspects of what Greythorn could offer. For just over a year I worked as a recruitment consultant focusing on Network Security and was then promoted in May of 2005 to Account Manager-a role in which I had sole responsibility for managing one of our largest global accounts. In this job I had the opportunity to team up with members of our London office on a recruiting event in Austria, as well as our Australian consultants at a recruitment function held by my Redmond-based client in Sydney. Working for Greythorn I’ve also had the chance to use my Spanish regularly, recruiting candidates from South America to work in the U.S.

After a company-sponsored trip to Dubai and London in October of 2005 in which I got to meet colleagues from all over the world, I thought it was time to take further advantage of our international presence and asked for a transfer to work in Greythorn’s London office. Since June of 2006 I have been working as a Creative and Design recruitment consultant in London and can honestly say that Greythorn has helped me reach many of my personal and professional goals in a relatively short time.
